Leo DiEgidio
was a trial attorney, real estate broker, real estate developer, and a teacher of students of all ages. He founded and operated Leo Realty Co. from 1964 to 1985; he maintained a private legal practice from 1980 until his death; and he founded and directed the Academy of Continuing Legal Education from 1989 until his death.

Leo developed neighborhoods of residential homes in Bedford, Garfield Heights, Aurora, and Macedonia; and developed the Pavilion office complex in Macedonia. Leo served as an acting judge in the Bedford Municipal Court and as an arbitrator for the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas.

Leo was active in the Democratic Party. He served as ward leader in the City of Bedford, and had a note of thanks from President John F. Kennedy framed and on display in his office, appreciating his work in the 1960 election.

Leo's greatest enthusiasm was for educating his fellow citizens, whether junior high and high school students in Parma, Bedford, and Garfield Heights, or attorneys in Macedonia and Puerto Vallarta. Greater Cleveland is a better place for Leo having lived and worked here, and Greater Cleveland's legal community is a better community for Leo having taught us.
